Workshop FAQS
You don’t need beautiful handwriting, artistic experience, or any previous calligraphy skills. This workshop is designed for complete beginners. We’ll start with the basics and go through each step at a comfortable pace.
Whether you’re here to discover a new hobby, make something beautiful, or simply enjoy some creative time, there’s a place for you here.
We’ll cover basic calligraphy strokes, stroke drills, forming letters, connecting letters into words, and some tips and techniques I’ve learned through years of practicing calligraphy.
By the end of the workshop, you’ll have the basic skills and confidence to create your own personalized gift tags and greeting cards for your family and friends this holiday season!
Early bird rate: PhP 1,650 per head (Limited slots only until October 16)
Regular rate: PhP 1,850 per head
You can pay via GCash or Bank transfer.
All the materials you’ll need for the workshop will be provided, including the brush pens, worksheets, snacks & drinks of your choice, plus surprise goodies from me! 🧡
The workshop is best suited for ages 13 and above. Since we’ll be doing focused calligraphy exercises and learning techniques step by step, we recommend this age range so participants can comfortably follow the activities and get the most out of the workshop.
That’s completely okay! Calligraphy isn’t about having perfect handwriting. We’ll focus on learning the basic strokes and techniques step by step. You might be surprised by what you can create with a little practice 😊
Yes! The workshop will be held in a cozy cafe space where you can enjoy good food and drinks while creating.
Workshop slots are non-refundable but transferable. If you’re unable to attend, you may transfer your slot to someone else. Just email me at shopsmall@geladesignstudio.com at least 2 days before the workshop date so I can update the registration details.
Cancellations or changes made less than 2 days before the workshop will be considered paid and confirmed, and the slot will no longer be eligible for transfer. We appreciate your understanding, as each slot is reserved especially for you.
If the workshop needs to be postponed or cancelled due to severe weather, emergencies, venue concerns, or other unforeseen circumstances, I will notify all registered participants as soon as possible.
For postponed workshops, your slot will be transferred to the new date. If the workshop is cancelled and cannot be rescheduled, registered participants will receive a full refund.
